Seit hunderten und tausenden von Jahren, bevor Firmenlogos unseren Alltag bestimmten, gibt es ursprüngliche Symbole nahezu in jeder Kultur der Welt. Diese Symbole reflektieren verschiedenste Aspekte des Lebens -
den menschlichen Körper (Augen, Hände, Schädel und Herzen.. )
astronomische Ikonen (Sonne, Mond, Sterne…)
sowie Naturphänomene (Blitze, Feuer, Wellen..).
Geometrische Grundformen (Dreiecke, Kreise, Quadrate…)
und abstrahierte Tier Silhouetten (Adler, Löwen, Schlangen…)
ergänzen das Repertoire der ersten optischen Kommunikation - zunächst an Höhlenwänden - später dann an Gebäuden und noch später auf Papyrus und Papier.

Primeval Symbols

For hundreds and thousands of years - before company logos ruled our everyday lives - primeval symbols existed around the world in nearly every culture. This symbols reflect manyfold aspects of life -
the human body (eyes, hearts, skulls and hands...)
as well as basic astronomic icons (sun, moon and stars...)
and nature (lightning, fire and waves...).
Geometric shapes (triangle, circles and squares… )
and reduced animal shapes (lions, eagles and snakes...)
complete the repertoire for the first optic communication - initially portrayed on walls of caves - later on buildings and even later on papyrus or paper.
